Annual Community Oncology Research Forum (More Info)
Description: The Annual Community Oncology Research Forum brings together academic and community physicians as well as oncology nurses and physician assistants in order to update participants on the state-of-the-art clinical management of a wide variety of solid and hematologic malignancies. Lectures will highlight current standards, cutting-edge information, and emerging treatment strategies for specific tumor types, followed by new clinical trial designs and patient case-based panel discussions on practical disease management. Other sessions will focus on key biologic mechanisms in cancer development as well as the ethics of clinical trials and biomedical statistics as they pertain to clinical trial design and interpretation. This meeting presents an opportunity for continuous dialogue and interaction between academic thought leaders and community oncologists.
