Description: As 80% of young patients with recent-onset psychosis will experience a second episode, and adherence problems are frequent, these patients may benefit from treatment with long-acting atypical antipsychotic medication. The presentation is given by Prof Michael Davidson, Professor of Psychiatry at the Sackler School of Medicine and Director the Department of Psychiatry, Sheba Medical Centre, Tel-Aviv, Israel.
