New medications in hepatology are constantly being tested in clinical trials and are now being rapidly approved by the FDA with entry into the American treatment market. At this conference we will be reviewing those new medications that are available, or will soon be available, and discussing their relative values. The results of trials using new drugs to treat chronic viral hepatitis B and C will be reviewed and the clinical use of these drugs will be explained in detail. New Treatments in Chronic Liver Disease is a comprehensive yet concise program for updating physicians on these and other commonly encountered problems in the treatment of liver diseases.
