This three and one-half days course features presentations and discussions of topics in gastroenterology and hepatology, with a focus on cutting-edge information that has direct clinical impact. We examine new data procedures and techniques, and help attendees determine the role of these advances in their practice. Controversies in diagnosis and theraphy are analyzed in discussion sessions and breakout sessions. Learn new techniques from expert endoschopists using state-of-the-art technology at the endoscopy Hands-On Endoscopy Workshop and work toward completion of an American Board of Internal Medicine medical knowledge module in gastroenterology. Use of an audience response system engages participations in interactive learning.
This two-day workshop will address the need to integrate quality improvement and safety into medical education. Designed for health profession educators, this workshop will disseminate the knowledge and tools necessary to successfully implement QI and safety education in undergraduate medical education (UME), graduate medical education (GME), continuing medical education (CME), and allied health schools.
